In 2017 I got divorced and suddenly had to figure out how to handle life and money with no child support, no partner, and four kids depending on me.
In 2022 everything collapsed at the same time.
The relationship ended.
I was kicked out of the place I lived.
My kids were split between homes hours apart.
I opened a barbershop while finishing my degree.
I slept in the shop.
I slept in my car.
I stayed in Airbnbs I could barely afford.
None of it looked graceful.
But all of it shaped me.
Because when you have no safety net, you become one.
I create simple financial systems for women who are exhausted from trying to hold their lives together without a safety net.
I was never taught to manage money.
I was taught to survive.
Maybe you were too.
For years, my income was unstable. My bills never balanced. My bank account gave me anxiety.
And every time life threw something heavy at me, I had zero structure to catch it.
So I built the structure myself.
The Years That Broke Me Open
The Pivot I Did Not Choose
I hit a point where I could not keep guessing my way through my bills.
I needed clarity.
I needed numbers that told the truth.
I needed a system that held me when life did not.
So I opened a blank Google Sheet.
One sheet turned into a plan.
The plan turned into a system.
The system turned into a way out of survival mode.
And that changed everything.
